The station lot here is compact, and that is the one detail worth flagging when you book. Cars parked in it tend to be boxed tightly between neighbours by mid-morning, and a windshield replacement needs more clearance than a tight bay allows. Our usual solution is to move the car a couple of spaces to somewhere with an empty bay beside it and return it to where you left it, which is easier if you have told us in advance rather than had us discover it at eleven. Driveways in the village are the simpler option, and for a chip repair the parking hardly matters at all. A minute of planning saves us shuffling cars around while you are on a train.
